Fosco Demonstration B School Receives Newly Completed Classroom Block in Assin Central

Residents of Assin Central have welcomed the successful completion of a modern 3-unit classroom block at Fosco Demonstration B Basic School, marking another significant milestone in the constituency’s educational development agenda.

The project, which had remained abandoned for several years as a legacy infrastructure challenge, has now been fully revived and completed to provide a better learning environment for pupils and teachers within the community.

The completion of the classroom facility has been widely described as a major achievement under the leadership of the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Baba Gariba Adam, whose collaboration continues to drive development across the constituency.

Community members and education stakeholders believe the project will greatly improve teaching and learning conditions at the school by reducing classroom congestion and creating a more conducive atmosphere for academic activities.

The newly completed structure is expected to enhance the quality of education delivery while motivating students to perform better academically. Teachers are also expected to benefit from the improved infrastructure, which provides a safer and more comfortable teaching environment.

Speaking on the development, residents praised the leadership style of both Hon. Nurein Shaibu Migyimah and Hon. Baba Gariba Adam, describing their administration as one focused on practical results and community transformation rather than political rhetoric.

Their partnership has already contributed to several developmental projects across Assin Central, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, road construction and community infrastructure.

Over the years, many abandoned projects within the constituency have reportedly been revived and completed under their administration, bringing renewed hope and confidence to residents who had long awaited improvements in social infrastructure.

The completion of the Fosco Demonstration B classroom block is also expected to contribute to government efforts aimed at improving access to quality basic education, especially in underserved communities.

Education analysts have consistently emphasized the importance of adequate classroom infrastructure in enhancing academic performance and reducing challenges associated with overcrowded learning environments.

Residents say the project reflects the growing commitment of local authorities to invest in the future of children and strengthen educational opportunities within Assin Central.

As development activities continue across the constituency, many residents remain optimistic that more projects aimed at improving livelihoods and community welfare will be delivered in the coming years.

The successful completion of the classroom block stands as another visible symbol of progress and development in Assin Central, reinforcing the constituency’s drive toward improved education and sustainable community growth.
