Frederick Amissah Equips Breman Asikuma SHS ICT Lab with 30 Computers

Aspiring Member of Parliament for the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa (AOB) Constituency, Frederick Amissah, has donated 30 brand-new computers and other ICT equipment to Breman Asikuma Senior High School (BASS) as part of efforts to improve digital education and bridge the technology gap among students.

The donation forms part of Mr Amissah’s broader commitment to supporting education, youth development and community advancement in the constituency.

The intervention has seen the ICT laboratory of Breman Asikuma SHS equipped with 30 computers, printers, projectors, routers and high-speed internet cables.

The equipment is expected to significantly improve the school’s capacity to deliver practical Information and Communication Technology lessons and provide students with better access to digital learning resources.

School authorities described the donation as a major boost to teaching and learning, particularly at a time when digital literacy and technological skills are becoming increasingly important to students’ academic and professional development.

According to the school, the new equipment will support practical ICT lessons, facilitate research and create opportunities for students to develop their digital skills.

“This is not just about computers; it is about opening the world to our students. Mr. Amissah has given our students the wings to compete globally in this era of digital revolution,” a representative of the school said.
